Gosh I'm Horrible..... Oh Well..Not As Horrible As Poe!!!

  • My current Mood: depeche!!!!!
  • My Tunes: "Nobody Puts Baby in a Corner" by Fall Out Boy
  • Wise Words From Willy: If their is a song in your head, sing it loud and proud. That is the only way to get rid of it!

Hey All!!!! How are you? I'm good. I've started my second quarter at Pierce College and I am loving my classes. They're pretty low maintenance, but my sociology and physics class are pretty interesting. My Eng102 class is kind of boring, but not hard at all. We just read a short story and analyze it. We just finished reading William Faulkner's Guests of Our Nation, Frank O'Conner's The Rocking-Horse Winner, and Edgar Allan Poe's peices: The Black Cat, The Cask Of Amontillado, and The Mask of the Red Death. We are also about to start Poe's The Fall of the House of Usher.

I tend to like Poe's work, because they seem so far ahead of his time. And his stories are not so much paranormal, but merely happenings in his brain; remnants of his psycologically unstable mind. All of his characters have a sort of human quality about them because they're not all perfect. Even though their thinking seems to be... off a little, if thought about, the logic seems... Undeniable... LOL! (thats for you tenny!)

Well, sociology is cool. We're learning about how people interact with other people in their society and also a bunch of new terms which I will never be able to memorize otherwise. Great Fun for me, right? And my physics class is kind of fun, but totally not for me. I'm so not cut out for physics. Oh well...

In other news, the Youth Worship Band at my church has officially taken over worship for our Youth group. I'm a singer in case I haven't already told you. It is great fun. We sing a mix of old, known songs, and new songs that we find and love.

Well, I've got to head out! Ta Ta!!!!

I'm Freeeeeee!!!!!

  • Wise Words From Willy: Love Is Never Over-Rated

Hey All!!! Guess What!!! I am finally done with my first quarter as a college student. Oh Yeah!!! It is awsome!!!! I'm so proud of my self!! I even feel a proud tear coming... oh wait no... Thats a tear of relief.

No really. I loved my classes and my grades weren't too bad either. I somehow managed a 4.0 out of my math class. My professor said that i really impressed her. I'm so happy, i never thought i'd pull a 4.0 out of any of my classes. My other grades were'nt the best, but they were still acceptable....... I guess. For my political science class, I managed to pull out a strong 3.2. Well, maybe a 3.2 isn't that strong, but thats still like a B average or something. And finally, I was a little dissapointed, but I only got a 3.3 out of my English class. I was expecting at least a 3.6. I guess she didn't like my final paper as much as I did, but thats cool. It still gives me a cumulative GPA of 3.5. Wooo!!!

  • My Tunes: "Wings of a Butterfly" by: HIM
  • Wise Words From Willy: Dont Rip Off The Wings Of A Butterfly! It Is Rude, And Mean, And Very Inconsiderate To The Butterfly! (Not to mention that you are probably condeming it to deeath if you do...)

Hey All!! Guess what!! It has been another month since i've blogged!!! I'm so ashamed! I keep saying that i'll blog more... but i probably won't. I'm horrible and I know it. If I don't watch out, i'll turn into Ron Weasley (End of Potter 4... Pay Attention!!!!!).

Well, i'm chilling here at school in the library, waiting til 3:30 rolls around so that I can get out of here. I have youth worship team practice tonight (as we usually do on Wednesdays), but this time, it was moved to Tyler's house instead of at church. Since I've never been to his house, I have to find my way their. By looking at the directions, it sounds pretty close to my school, so I figured: Whi not chill here at school and save myself a bunch of gas? Well, i'll tell you... everyone leaves after noon here! College has too many freedoms and one of them is that everyone leaves when they fell like leaving. I need to find someone to hang out with while I wait. I need to start a "Waiter"s club. Well, no, maybe not that, that sounds boring, and a little too extreme for my taste.

Well, I should be working on my English essay that is due on Friday, but i'm not. I'm a huge procrastinator (see, I don't even feel like looking up how to spell it right now) for any of you who dont know me, and it's my custom to wait until the day before to do the 5 page paper with references and interview. But this has always worked for me in the past, and it hasn't come back to bite me in the rear yet, so whi bother changing my habits now? Besides, I tried to work on it, but it got boring...

The subject that I have to write about is: Women's Rights in Middle Eastern Culture. Yay fun for me right? Well, not really.

Wow, i'm a slow typer, it's taken me almost 20min. to type this out so far. I get distracted too easily...

OMG! Yesterday it actually snowed in western washington, if you can believe. It barely stuck in some places, and it was gone by this morning, but it still snowed. And I'm so proud of myself!!! Since it didn't snow last year, I had never had a chance to drive in the snow. Well, yesterday, I drove in the snow for the first time, hit Black Ice, and still didn't crash!!! YAY ME!!! and I heard it was supposed to snow later on tonight. Way Awsome. I love snow, always have. When I lived in Fredonia, New York (thats in western New York, about 45minutes south of Buffalo [yes, I am serious that there are actual places called Fredonia and Buffalo in New York. and furthermore, New York City is not the capital of New York!!! Albany is!! Get it straight.]) We would get a foot or two of snow and still have to go to school. When I was in 4th grade, the State had to send out the National Guard to help remove the snow, because they had no where to put it. In fact, the piles of snow got so high that, forget climbing trees to reach the telephone poles, snowbanks we much easier. No Kidding. It was great that year, even with my broken wrist which kept me from doing really anything fun int the snow, like sledding, ice skating, frozen river jumping, snow ball fights, ect.

But anywayz, enough about snow... well, maybe not for some peeps, but for my memories at the moment, its enough. I still have over an hour til I need to leave, and i'm running out of things to talk about. I guess I'll stop now before I get tooooo boring.  But 1 final thing..... Pillar is playing at Aquire The Fire on my Birthday!!!!!! Yay me!!! now I just have to convince my parents to let me go!!!! Oh well. Anywayz i g2g, and (i'm going to say it, but dont get pissed at me if it isn't) I'll try to wrie back more often. Ta-Ta!!!
